This Privacy Policy explains how Momentum (referred to in-app as “just do it”, the “App”) handles information when you use it.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Momentum mobile application.
It does not apply to third-party apps, websites, wallet software, or service providers that may be linked to, launched from, or integrated with the App. Those third parties have their own terms and privacy practices.
2. Information we process
Information you provide in the App — depending on how you use it, the App may process:
- goal titles and descriptions;
- planning context you enter;
- milestones, daily actions, and schedules;
- check-ins, notes, review inputs, and reflections;
- exported backup files you choose to create.
Device-local app data — the App stores most operational data locally on your device, such as goals, milestones, daily actions and reviews, local settings and preferences, and logs related to AI requests and responses generated through the App.
Information sent to third parties — when you use planning, review, or other generated assistance features, relevant prompt content may be sent to a third-party AI provider so the feature can work. This may include the goal and planning information you entered. At the time of this policy, the App uses the DeepSeek API for these features.
If you use the optional donation feature, the App may launch a third-party wallet app using a Solana payment link. The App does not collect your wallet seed phrase or private keys.
3. How we use information
- provide goal planning, tracking, and review features;
- generate action plans and summaries;
- save your progress locally on your device;
- enable exports you request;
- troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the App;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal basis and consent
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent when you submit information for AI-assisted features, performance of the service you request, legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the App, and compliance with legal obligations. We do not use deceptive or coercive methods to obtain consent.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only: with the AI service provider when needed to generate requested outputs; with device-level sharing or storage services when you choose to export or share data; with legal or regulatory authorities where required by law; or in connection with protecting rights, safety, and security.
6. Children and minors
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from minors without any consent required by applicable law. If you believe a minor has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us at selinaneo@proton.me.
7. Sensitive or regulated data
You should not use the App to submit highly sensitive personal data unless clearly necessary and legally permitted, including government ID numbers, health data, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, or biometric data. If regulated data is ever processed, we aim to minimize collection and use reasonable safeguards, but the App is not designed for regulated data workflows.
8. Data retention
Most app data remains on your device until you edit, export, clear app storage, or uninstall the App. Information sent to third-party providers may be retained by those providers under their own retention policies — please review the relevant third-party policies before using those features.
9. Your choices
- choose not to use AI-assisted features;
- edit or delete data stored in the App where the feature allows;
- uninstall the App or clear local app data from device settings;
- export your data using in-app export tools, if available;
- contact us to request deletion of personal information we directly control, subject to applicable law.

10. Security
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information under our control. No method of storage, transmission, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because the App relies partly on local device storage and third-party services, you are also responsible for keeping your device and wallet environment secure.
11. International processing
Third-party service providers used by the App may process data in countries other than your own. By using the relevant features, you understand that data may be processed outside your jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and the service provider's policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when published with a new “Last updated” date.
